The world’s leading imaging solutions and services provider, Electronics for Imaging, Inc. now set its eyes on the packaging and printing major Radius Solutions. The acquisition will mean a widening of the services provided by Electronics for Imaging as now they will be in a position to provide their customer a whole suite of packaging design services.
Radius Solutions is a famous ERP/MIS software provider company whose main sales and contracts come from the packaging sector. The terms of the acquisition deal are not yet disclosed but it is more likely to be based on cash transaction. Marc Olin, Sr. Vice President/General Manager of APPS of Electronics for Imaging feels that the deal will be a breakthrough as far as the company’s foray in the packaging design and software segment is concerned.
After the acquisition, the Radius Solutions will be a part of the APPS segment of EFI. APPS stands for Advanced Professional Print Software and this division concentrates on activities and operations towards the printing of graphics etc. EFI also plans to integrate its various award winning products and services such as Fiery, VUTEk, Jetrion, Digital StoreFront, PrintFlow and Auto-Count with the best product lines of the Radius Solutions so as to create the most winning combinations.

In addition to its products and services, the Radius Solutions will bring to Electronics for Imaging the multiple years of experience of its professionals in the software and packaging design industry.
